The origin of this painting dates back to a day in 2019 when I asked my nephew (who was in 5th grade at the time, skinny, small, and a good kid), "What do you want to do when you grow up?" After thinking for a moment, he replied—"Deliver packages!"
...I was stunned. Awesome! I’ll paint this moment for you! Support! But first, you’ve got to build up your strength... Kids are truly amazing. And that’s the story behind this painting.
I think if I were to become a delivery person, I’d probably be a pretty good one too—I’d be fully committed...
Years have passed, and my nephew has since taken up painting. Now, there’s one more art student in the world and one less delivery person... Expected, yet unexpected 😏 Keep it up!
